RAD Tracker has created a new market segment of high-performance Amphibious Vehicles. No more slow, jerky, bumpy rides typical of other Amphibians. For the first time, an Amphibian keeps pace with Snowmobiles, ATV’s and Watercraft.

This exciting new technology has been quietly under development for the past 17 years. In 2008, Inventor Shawn Watling, the company’s founder, was featured on Daily Planet for his invention of the rear-drive Snowmobile. In 2010 he received the Popular Science, Invention of the Year award.

In 2012, frustrated with Snowmobiles and the constant compromise between ski pressure for handling and weight on the track for grip, Shawn decided to replace those darn skis for a pair of tracks. The biggest challenge, how to precisely control track speed without using a brake-steer system. VRD was the result. The concept of a high-speed Twin Tracked Amphibian was born.
